Training Classes

theForkliftSchool has many different classes and class formats available for both individuals and companies. Above you see the different types of equipment we offer training for, and all the classes have both on line and on site training options. Every class also has the option to be turned into a Train the Trainer course with our advanced training materials for companies that wish to do thier own in-house training.

We are a national company and have trainers in all regions of the United States. For companies that would like on site training for their operators, our trainers can come on site and perform both the classroom and hands on evaluations as required by OSHA and ANSI Guidelines.

theForkliftSchool is a socially honest company, and strives to make sure that both companies and individuals sign up and take the classes that are right for our customers. While there are online classes available, we feel it is best to talk to a training counselor to ensure that you are signed up for the proper training program. Our counselors, speak both English and Spanish and we have trainers and training materials that support both languages. Please contact us directly with the form on this page, or call us at anytime. We respond and pick up the phone even outside normal business hours, so do not hesitate to call and talk to our experienced and helpful staff.

Frequently Asked Questions...

OSHA Guidelines 1910.178 require that operators of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) also known as forklifts must have formal training and be evaluated by their employer before they use a forklift on the job.

Because forklift incidents are always in the top 10 of OSHA violations, it is mandated. But a well trained and certified operator will be safe on the job.
